What to Expect
Cappadocia Blue Tour (RV01)
Visit the beautiful Devrent Imagination Valley and stroll through its lunar-like landscape. Admire the houses carved from rocks at the Zelve Open Air Museum, and marvel at the fairy chimneys of Pasabaglari. Continue the tour with a visit to the village of Avanos, to witness a pottery-making demonstration using ancient Hittite techniques, and lunch at a local cave restaurant. Then, make your way to the Uchisar Rock-Castle for a panoramic view of Goreme valley and the stunning Goreme Open Air Museum.
Cappadocia Red Tour (RV02)
Visit the fascinating Derinkuyu Underground City, the beautiful Narli Gol volcanic crater lake, and enjoy a pleasant 4-kilometer hike down the stunning Ihlara Canyon. Continue the tour with lunch at the lovely village of Belisirma, followed by a visit to the surreal monastic site of Selime for some beautiful panoramic views of the Ihlara Valley as well as Agzikarahan, the 13th-century Seljukian caravansary on the silk road.
Cappadocia Green Tour (RV03)
Visit the amazing Kaymakli Underground City, and then enjoy a relaxing 3-kilometer hike through the Soganli Valley to see some Byzantine-era rock tombs. Then make your way to Sobesos, a 5th-century Roman Bath, and the Taskinpasa Medresesi, an Ottoman theological school. Continue the tour to the Keslik Monastery and the village of Mustafapasa to experience some lovely Ottoman and Greek architecture.
Cappadocia Orange Tour (RV 04)
Spend half a day trekking from Kizilcukur to Cavusin through the beautiful Rose Valley. Admire the variety of spectacular colors and rock formations in the valley, and visit the churches of Uzumlu and St. Nicholas. Finish the hike in Cavusin Village, to see how the people there still live in rock-cut dwellings and stone houses.
