Following a pick-up from your hotel, transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to the historic Sultanahmet area, and discover the UNESCO sites with your guide. Go to the ancient Hagia Sophia, built in 537 AD as an Orthodox church before being converted to a Muslim mosque. Skip the lines to marvel at its Byzantine and Ottoman decorations, and admire the massive dome that was the largest in the world when it was built.
Cross to the Blue Mosque, built in the 17th century and an icon of Istanbul thanks to its minarets and exquisite blue Iznik tiles.
